Beautiful roses and lilacs floral pattern Queen Anne bone china footed cup and saucer. Vivid colors of deep raspberry, mauve, lavender and green on creamy white accented with gold. Saucer edge is slightly scalloped. Maker's mark is clear: Bone China Queen Anne Made in England; Pattern No 8544.
Shore & Coggins Limited produced china ware in the Edensor Works, New Street and the High Street Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The firm dates back to 1887 when it was known as J. Shore & Co. The Queen Anne trade name introduced around 1950 was used until the closure of the Edensor Works in 1966.
